HOME PURCHASE COUNSELING
Buy your first home with confidence. NeDA offers HUD-approved home purchase counseling. An adviser will help you understand the process from start to finish, including a personalized, full credit report review to help identify potential barriers and get you mortgage-ready. Your coach will offer unbiased support and advice along the entire home-buying process. Set up your appointment today.
NeDA also partners with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to prepare buyers who may qualify for a Habitat mortgage loan. Habitat loans are designed for buyers who meet certain income qualifications. Some buyers will qualify for a Habitat-developed property, and other buyers may qualify to buy a home on the open market. Homebuyers complete our home purchase counseling, a homebuyer education class, and then are referred directly to Habitat’s program.

Purchasing a home could be the biggest investment you make. Home Stretch will walk you step-by-step through the entire process. Our educators create a comfortable and engaging environment where participants have the opportunity to ask questions directly to lenders, real estate agents, and home inspectors, along with other industry professionals. The workshop also details down payment and closing costs assistance programs. Visit our event page for upcoming classes and enroll.
