Neighborhood Development Alliance actively builds and manages real estate development work on the West Side of Saint Paul, with a focus on housing that is affordable. We are licensed with the state of Minnesota as a General Contractor. We have developed both multifamily rental housing units and single family homes, as well as performed rehab work on existing homes.

      OAKDALE HOMES      This project, located along Oakdale Avenue on the West Side, between State St. and Baker Ave, will provide 9 new opportunities for homeownership. NeDA plans to develop in 2 phases; in late summer of 2018, we will break ground on the construction of a twin home and a cottage home. Then in 2019, we will move forward and build 3 additional twin homes. In total, this site will host 9 new properties for homeownership. The architectural plans are still under development and the final site layouts are in process. The color rendition above reflects one of the proposed layouts for the first phase of development.    430 SOUTH ROBERT      We are implementing a $3,000,000 capital campaign to construct a commercial building that connects downtown St. Paul with suburbs to the south.  The 1st floor will be held in reserve for a retail establishment. The 2nd floor will host NeDA's new office, along with the West Side Community Organization.  A planned green roof penthouse will be accessible for community workshops on environment, energy, and food production.
