Neighborhood Development Alliance actively builds and manages real estate development work on the West Side of Saint Paul, with a focus on housing that is affordable. We are licensed with the state of Minnesota as a General Contractor. We have developed both multifamily rental housing units and single family homes, as well as performed rehab work on existing homes. 




STRYKER SENIOR HOUSING This proposed block-long project, located along Stryker Avenue on the West Side, and including the community garden at 617 Stryker Ave, will provide 57 units of very affordable senior housing. Forty-three of the units will be set aside for seniors earning less than 30 percent of area median income, and an additional 14 units are reserved for seniors earning less than 60 percent of area median income. NeDA has Tentative Developer Status from the City of St. Paul and is currently in the process of submitting financial applications.  We are working with LHB, an architect firm with whom we have collaborated in the past, including on our LEED-certified gold twin home.


OAKDALE HOMES This project, located along Oakdale Avenue on the West Side, between State St. and Baker Ave, will provide 9 new opportunities for homeownership. NeDA plans to develop in 2 phases; and in total, this site will host 9 new properties for homeownership. The architectural plans are still under development and the final site layouts are in process.
